What if
waking up and doing nothing wasn’t a bad thing? What if just spreading yourself
on a couch and thinking about not doing anything or ever wanting to do anything,
wasn’t a socially ‘disgraceful’ thing? What if being lazy is more than we think
it is?
Well, simply
put, laziness is the quality of being unable to do work or make an effort. Sound
familiar? Laziness is an attribute frowned upon by society. It can’t be any
clearer than this,
No food for a lazy man.
For a fact,
laziness contributes massively to unproductivity and even when there is an
output from such a state, it is most likely to be disorganized or erroneous,
leaving much to be desired. How then can any other perspective prove otherwise. As with every other thing, you decide.
LAZINESS COULD BE THE REASON YOU’RE
HARDWORKING
You must be
crazy – that is what’s probably going on in your mind. But it is seen that
people tend to do things at a given time so that they won’t do it at a later
time. It is called ‘discipline’, how about ‘future laziness’?
LAZINESS COULD BE VERY EFFICIENT
Lazy people
tend to dislike and avoid hardwork. This makes them see easier alternatives to
achieving the same purpose, a surprisingly creative approach. And by doing a
lot of easy stuff, they tend to be very efficient, studies show.
LAZINESS COULD BE TIME-SAVING
By avoiding
difficult things. Lazy people tend to be very realistic – knowing when a
problem is impossible to handle or solve, and avoiding it. Instead of giving
time to unfruitful ventures and wasting both their time and energy.
LAZINESS COULD BE THE REASON FOR
TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT
Technological
innovations are discoveries and inventions that solve a particular problem and
create a more convenient means of handling it. For example, the term ‘machine’
is used generally for anything that makes a particular work easier. In a sense,
finding a way to make things less difficult and needing less human effort. Need more be explained? (funny
smile)
LAZINESS COULD HELP YOU THINK
While taking
that extra unneeded nap or probably daydreaming, it has been shown that people
tend to reflect or go over things they have done or plan to do. Even while
physically inactive, the brain is still very well functioning. People think a
lot during periods of laziness. Whether it is the same as meditation or if it
even brings about action, is a different case altogether. An unpopular opinion
even says that lazy people are actually very intelligent.
Laziness can
be looked at in many ways, but undoubtedly it is a most unwise habit to
regularly and repeatedly indulge. What do you think? Is laziness no good at
all? Is all this just another lazy excuse to be lazy? Is there the faintest
truth in these theories? And better yet, are you lazy?

Well, reading the above theories i can agree that one can quite put or define laziness that way but not all can see it that way. What i mean is a lot people (the lazy ones actually) will misinterprete those theories. Whether laziness is good or bad? Society frowns upon it but if we're to answer the question, we can only answer it personally. When you're lazy, do you become smart in the process by thinking of an easy way to do something (which for the life of me i wonder why society thinks that's bad) and think up something creative or when you're lazy, you become useless, you don't think of anything, not even the easy way to do something, you just sleep away your time. Now the latter i consider to be bad but the former,I couldn't agree more. And for the record, I'm lazy
ReplyDelete🔥🔥🔥... Words on fire. It couldn't have been said any better. My best part was when you said that we can only answer it personally which is quite deep. Cos two people can have entirely different results from one situation depending on the people themselves who are involved.
DeleteThank you so much for sharing this
Hmmm very interesting, I agree to this like a wise man said if you want to get the job done fast, give it to a lazy man, he will find an easy way to do it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this
